At McCarthy Stone were committed to providing safe and secure living environments for our residents. We are looking for a Fire Safety Manager to lead our fire and building safety approach ensuring compliance with all current and future legislation. This is a pivotal role in shaping our strategic approach working closely with Hampshire Fire and Rescue and key stakeholders across the business.
What Youll Do
- Develop and implement fire and building safety strategies across our estate.
- Provide expert guidance to internal teams ensuring compliance with current regulations.
- Work closely with Hampshire Fire and Rescue and external consultants to maintain our high safety standards.
- Conduct audits on fire risk assessments ensuring best practice across our properties.
- Lead fire remediation projects and implement recommendations to enhance safety.
- Keep up to date with legislative changes and ensure our approach evolves accordingly.
What Were Looking For
- Degree-qualified professional with membership in a relevant fire safety body (e.g. IWFM).
- Extensive knowledge of fire and building safety legislation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex regulations to diverse audiences.
- Experience in developing and implementing safety strategies across large property estates.
- Resilient proactive and results-driven individual with excellent problem-solving skills.
