About the role: As a Care Assistant you will provide the highest quality of individual care to our residents, enabling them to live a later life well. You will deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the estate, including apartment cleans.

Duties will be varied and include supporting and encouraging residents to take part in a wide range of activities that support their health and wellbeing, helping them book appointments, arrange transport, escort them on visits, and assist with shopping.

Responsibilities

  • Provide highest quality individual care to residents
  • Deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the estate, including apartment cleans

Qualifications

  • Warm, friendly individual with ideally some experience of working in a care or support environment
  • Passion for making a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people and enjoy working as part of a team in a busy setting
  • Driven to deliver excellent customer service
  • Willing to work in the Health and Social Care sector and preferably hold a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification, or have equivalent relevant experience

  • Hourly rate: £13.70 per hour, plus up to £1.30 for working evening and weekend hours
