Overview

Join McCarthy Stone as a Care and Support Assistant – Make a Real Difference! This role is based at Henderson Court, Ponteland, a friendly retirement community where you can work alongside supportive colleagues in a centralised environment—no travel required.

Hours: 16 hours per week, with early, late and weekend shifts as arranged with the manager.

Pay: Starting at £12.39 per hour, with enhanced rates up to £13.69 per hour depending on shifts during weekends and evenings.

  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year in a UK health and social care role is preferred, with a passion for working with older adults.
  • Qualifications: A Level 2 QCF qualification in Health and Social Care (Adults) is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Skills: Warm, friendly, and dedicated to exceptional service; thrive in a team environment and are eager to make a positive difference.
