We are looking for a customer-focused IT Service Delivery Specialist who brings the capability to deliver high-quality IT support and ensure the effective operation of our core systems and services. You bring proven experience working within an IT Service Desk or Service Delivery environment, with the ability to manage incidents and service requests efficiently while maintaining a focus on service excellence. You are confident diagnosing and resolving technical issues across hardware, software, and network infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption to the business.

You have experience working within structured IT environments, applying operational support frameworks and best practices such as ITIL. You understand the importance of accurate data capture, system tracking, and maintaining high-quality documentation to support consistent and effective service delivery. You combine strong organisational skills with a proactive approach, managing competing priorities and high volumes of work within tight deadlines. You communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, building positive relationships and ensuring clear updates on issues, risks, and resolutions. With strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement, you contribute to enhancing systems, processes, and service standards. You are comfortable supporting wider IT projects and activities while maintaining day-to-day operational performance.

Your Impact

As an IT Service Delivery Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective delivery of IT services across the business. You will be critical in:

  • Delivering first-line support for IT incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution within agreed SLAs
  • Supporting the build, configuration, and deployment of IT equipment, including laptops, mobile devices, and network hardware
  • Maintaining accurate records across IT systems, including asset management, stock control, and knowledge documentation
  • Contributing to system stability through daily checks, monitoring, and proactive issue identification
  • Supporting continuous improvement by enhancing processes, documentation, and service delivery practices aligned to ITIL principles
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all locations

What we are looking for

You are a proactive IT Service Delivery Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering excellent service. You’ll likely bring:

  • Proven experience within an IT Service Desk or Service Delivery role supporting hardware and software
  • Strong knowledge of incident and request management processes within structured IT frameworks
  • Experience building, configuring, and deploying IT equipment including laptops, mobile devices, and network components
  • The ability to manage workload effectively, prioritising tasks and adapting to changing demands
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally across multiple channels
  • High attention to detail, with experience maintaining accurate records, documentation, and system updates
  • An understanding of ITIL practices (ITIL v4 Foundation desirable)
  • Relevant certifications such as MCP or CompTIA (desirable)
