McCarthy Stone are recruiting a professional Care Supervisor to join the team at our prestigious Lambrook Court development in Bath, Somerset.
- Hourly rate: £15.75 per hour for day shifts and £12.24 per hour for sleeping night shifts. Plus receive an extra £1 for every hour worked from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday.
- Hours: 33.5 per week on a rota basis that will include a mix of day shifts and sleeping night shifts.
- Day shifts vary between 08:45 and 16:30 or between 16:15 to 09:30.
- Night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00am.
- Care Supervisors sleep between 23:00 and 07:00 providing emergency support only to homeowners throughout that period.
Built in 2025, Twelve Acres Place is a Retirement Living Plus development that consists of 62 apartments with the over 70's in mind, providing excellent on-site facilities and set within beautiful grounds.
About The Role
We are seeking a professional Care Supervisor to exemplify the high‑quality customer standards that we are renowned for. About You
- You will be a warm, friendly, organised, and self‑motivated individual with experience of working in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.
- You will want to work in the Health and Social care sector and preferably have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification, although consideration will be given to a candidate with alternative qualifications and relevant experience.
- Keen to take on the responsibility of managing the security of the development, looking after the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners, and overseeing the Care and Support teams.
- Able to co‑ordinate and facilitate activities that help strengthen the community spirit within the development.
- Driven to continue to grow your skills and will want to lead by example and think on your feet.
- Able to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
