McCarthy Stone are recruiting a professional Care Supervisor to join the team at our prestigious Kingfisher Court development in Taunton, Somerset.
Hourly rate: £15.75 per hour for day shifts and £12.24 per hour for sleeping night shifts. Plus receive an extra £1 for every hour worked from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday.
Hours: 33.25 per week on a rota basis that will include a mix of day shifts and sleeping night shifts.
Day shifts vary between 08:45 and 16:30 or between 16:15 to 09:30.
Night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00 AM.
Care Supervisors sleep between 23:00 and 07:00, providing emergency support to homeowners during that period.

Qualifications
- Warm, friendly, organised, and self‑motivated with experience in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.
- Desire to work in the health and social care sector and preferably hold a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification; alternative qualifications and relevant experience will also be considered.
- Keen to take on responsibility for security of the development, safety and wellbeing of homeowners, and oversight of the Care and Support teams.
- Able to coordinate and facilitate activities that strengthen community spirit within the development.
- Driven to grow skills and to lead by example.
- Able to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
