McCarthy & Stone are recruiting for a Domestic Assistant to join the team at our Retirement Living Plus development, Talbot Court in Bridgnorth, Shropshire.
This is not traditional care, this is better!
Hourly rate: £12.85per hour ( inclusive of weekend work)

About the role:
As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for the domestic support and housekeeping, of our homeowner apartments, their laundry service and cleaning or the development’s communal areas . You will support in the Bistro or Restaurant during service times and provide lifestyle services to our homeowners . These include, chaperoning homeowners to medical appointments, and/or other community related services, or simply offering social support . There are usually opportunities for overtime within nearby developments as well.
About you: You will have
- A caring personality and the want to make a difference to people’s lives!
- Experience in a customer care or service role within a similar environment, such as health & social care, hospitality, retail, domestic services or even caring for a family member.
- Considerate , patient, and professional
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Be friendly and approachable
- A hardworking diligent nature and good time keeping
