The Vacancy
Join Our Team as a Domestic & Care Assistant at McCarthy Stone!
Development: Wainwright Court.
Hours: 16 hours per week
Hourly rate: £12.24 per hour.
Domestic Assistant Responsibilities:
- Domestic support and housekeeping, including weekly homeowner apartment cleans, laundry service and communal area cleaning
- Supporting in the Bistro or Restaurant
- Opportunity for overtime within nearby developments
- There is also the opportunity to develop your skills and train further to become a Care Assistant and Duty Manager should you wish to.
Skills and Experience:
- A caring personality and the want to make a difference to people\’s lives!
- Experience of domestic cleaning would be ideal or experience of working in a customer care or service role in a similar environment, such as health & social care, hospitality, retail, domestic services or even caring for a family member.
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleaning
- Considerate, patient and professional
- Clear and confident communication skills
- Be friendly and approachable
- A hardworking diligent nature and good time keeping
- Providing personalized support to residents, helping them make the most of their retirement living experience.
