Join to apply for the Care Supervisor role at McCarthy Stone at our Corbett Court development in Burgess Hill, West Sussex.

Hourly rate: £14.51 per hour day rate and £12.24 per hour sleeping night rate. An additional £1 is paid for every hour worked from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday. Hours: 17.75 per week (includes day and sleeping night shifts). Our day shifts vary between 08:45 and 16:30 or between 16:15 to 09:30. Our night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00 with sleep between 23:00 and 07:00 providing emergency support only to our homeowners during that period.

About The Role

We are seeking a professional Care Supervisor to exemplify the high-quality customer standards for a thriving community of active and independent older people. You will help support the management and smooth running of the community so residents can enjoy their best lives in elegant private apartments with peace of mind from always having someone on hand to help if needed.

About You

  • You will be a warm, friendly, organised, and self-motivated individual with experience in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.
  • You will want to work in the Health and Social care sector and preferably have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification; alternatives with relevant experience will be considered.
  • You will help manage the security of the development and oversee the safety and wellbeing of homeowners and Care and Support teams.
  • You will coordinate and facilitate activities to strengthen community spirit within the development.
  • You are driven to grow your skills, lead by example, and think on your feet.
  • You aim to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
