The primary objective of this role is to support the leadership team in ensuring the required service levels are always achieved. In addition to service levels, maximising efficiency, ensuring a co-operative working environment, optimising productivity, keeping tight control of inventory, minimising costs, ensuring strong due diligence, and keeping accurate accounts.
Warehouse Section Leader: Key Responsibilities
- Motivate and inspire the team to maximise performance and improve staff retention
- Lead, prepare, and develop warehouse team members
- Managing, coaching and mentoring a team to achieve outstanding results
- Drive the team to meet and exceed targets, ensuring they are set clear targets to reach their potential
- Effectively manage cost controls to achieve stock inventory results
- Successfully manage stock rotation and date code control to minimise waste
- Coach and develop colleagues to maximise pick rate and be accountable to productivity targets
- Effectively manage the goods inbound and outbound processes and compliance
