Sainsbury’s are looking for Trading Managers to share their passion for making each and every customer’s day in store by delivering the best standards in retail across their areas of responsibility. The Food Services Trading Manager will look after the Food Counters, Bakery and Customer Café, this is a big role, its all about how you manage and motivate your team to deliver the standards and delight your customers every day!
Ideal Candidate

- Proven experience in managing a medium sized diverse team in a hospitality, leisure or retail environment

The Role – Key Responsibilities
- Managing, coaching, and developing a team of diverse individuals
- Ensure all staff are multi-skilled / tasked to complete a wide range of duties within the store
- Ensure all staff have knowledge of products and services within the whole store
- Understand customers, anticipating their needs, setting 'best in class' standards of service
- Ensuring staffing levels are adequate to meet customer expectations for the whole store
- Manage stock availability and waste
- Driving customer service standards to achieve sales and exceed customer satisfaction targets
- Identifying the potential and managing staff development and supporting staff to achieve their potential
