The Role
You will play a key role in keeping the fleet safe, compliant, and roadworthy during night operations. Working in a clean, well‑equipped workshop, you will carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs with a focus on quality and safety.
Your Responsibilities
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing HGVs, trailers, and associated plant
- Mechanical fault‑finding and repair work (electrical knowledge an advantage)
- Carrying out routine inspections and safety checks
- Diagnosing and rectifying defects to ensure vehicles remain roadworthy
- Completing job cards and maintenance paperwork accurately
- Handing work over clearly between shifts
- Maintaining high workshop, housekeeping, and health standards
