A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Junior Geotechnical Engineer to join a growing technical engineering team working across quarrying, earthworks, remediation and major land development projects.
Role
- Support the planning, design and delivery of geotechnical and earthworks projects across multiple sites.
- Assisting with earthworks and geotechnical design activities.
- Producing technical calculations and engineering reports.
- Supporting quarry restoration and development projects.
- Carrying out site inspections and monitoring works.
- Sampling and testing ground materials.
- Supporting Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) activities.
- Reviewing engineering data and site information.
- Working with internal teams to ensure projects meet technical and regulatory requirements.
About You
- A degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, Earth Sciences or a related discipline.
- Approximately 1-3 years’ experience within geotechnical, ground engineering, site investigation or civil engineering environments.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good technical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning.
- Experience within earthworks, site investigations, ground modelling, quality assurance or engineering design would be advantageous but is not essential.
