A leading infrastructure and engineering contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a major long-term energy infrastructure project in Essex. This is an opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong order book, a secure pipeline of work and a reputation for delivering complex infrastructure projects across the UK.
- Preparation of valuations and applications for payment
- Cost reporting and commercial forecasting
- Management of subcontractor and supplier accounts
- Procurement and commercial administration
- NEC contract administration and change management
- Compensation Events and commercial risk management
- Agreement of final accounts
- Supporting project teams with commercial advice and guidance
- Identifying opportunities for value engineering and cost optimisation
- Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or an experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to step up
- Strong NEC contract knowledge
- Infrastructure, utilities, energy, civil engineering or major construction experience
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness
- HND, Degree or equivalent qualification
- RICS/ICES membership or working towards chartership is desirable
- Salary up to £77,000
