About the Role
Our client is seeking a Compliance & Operations Officer to ensure that contracted services and facilities operate in full compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will monitor performance, address compliance issues, and work collaboratively with contractors and stakeholders to drive service improvements. This role also involves supporting maintenance programmes, managing projects, and deputising for the Contracts Manager when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct compliance audits across multiple sites and services.
- Investigate and resolve performance issues with contractors.
- Carry out Health & Safety inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Manage lifecycle and capital projects, including budgeting and procurement.
- Review and update service delivery plans and contractual documentation.
- Support financial oversight and produce analytical reports.
- Liaise with contractors and stakeholders to manage service changes and reporting.
- Prepare monthly and annual compliance reports.
Essential Criteria
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance.
- Experience in managing people or contractors.
- Background in compliance auditing within a regulated environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience in financial/budget management and procurement.
- Ability to prioritise workload and adapt to changing priorities.
