We are recruiting for a Site Manager – Land Remediation to take day-to-day control of a unique golf-course redevelopment project in Glasgow. This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground role, overseeing large volumes of soil import, earthworks and remediation activities ahead of the full redesign and build of the golf course.
This role will suit someone from a civil engineering, earthworks or land remediation background who is happy to lead from the front and get into an excavator when required, supporting site progress and keeping works moving safely and efficiently.
Ideal Candidate – Site Manager – Land Remediation- Proven experience as a Site Manager / Works Manager / Supervisor within earthworks, remediation, civil engineering or enabling works
- Strong practical background with soil movements, remediation and bulk earthworks
- Excavator experience and comfortable operating plant when needed
- Confident managing site teams, subcontractors and daily site activity
- Safety-driven with solid knowledge of H&S, RAMS and environmental controls
- Day-to-day management of the remediation and earthworks phase of the project
- Oversee soil tipping, placement, levels and site preparation activities
- Coordinate site labour, plant and subcontractors to maintain programme
- Lead by example on site safety, quality and environmental compliance
- Step in operationally where required, including driving an excavator
