If so, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. Our client is a rapidly expanding, £10m multi-disciplinary construction business with sites across the North West and Yorkshire. With further locations planned over the next five years, they are looking for a capable and proactive Health & Safety Manager to take ownership of the function and drive high standards across the group.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the development and delivery of the company’s Health & Safety strategy across all operational sites
- Acting as the day-to-day subject matter expert for all H&S matters
- Implementing, maintaining and improving HSEQ management systems
- Coaching, guiding and influencing teams to embed a positive safety culture
- Driving continuous improvement and proactively identifying areas of enhancement
- Overseeing insurance claims and third-party relationships
- Creating and developing policies, standards and training
- Ensuring compliance with ISO, COSHH, LOLER and wider regulatory requirements
Who We’re Looking For

- Confident engaging employees at all levels
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple priorities across various sites
- Someone who enjoys autonomy and wants to take ownership of HSEQA
