A leading infrastructure and engineering contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a major long-term energy infrastructure project in Essex. Preparation of valuations and applications for payment
Cost reporting and commercial forecasting
Management of subcontractor and supplier accounts
Procurement and commercial administration
NEC contract administration and change management
Compensation Events and commercial risk management
Agreement of final accounts
Supporting project teams with commercial advice and guidance
Identifying opportunities for value engineering and cost optimisation
Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or an experienced Quantity Surveyor ready to step up
Strong NEC contract knowledge
Infrastructure, utilities, energy, civil engineering or major construction experience
Strong commercial and contractual awareness
HND, Degree or equivalent qualification
RICS/ICES membership or working towards chartership is desirable
Salary up to £77,000
