Preparing and managing planning applications
Producing Planning Statements and supporting documentation
Liaising with Local Planning Authorities and statutory consultees
Coordinating technical inputs from environmental specialists
Developing planning strategies for clients and projects
Supporting projects through the planning process
Monitoring planning policy and legislative updates
Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Experience within Minerals & Waste Planning, Quarrying, Land Remediation, Waste Management or Environmental Planning
Experience preparing or supporting planning applications
Good understanding of the UK planning system
Strong report writing and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
RTPI qualified or working towards Chartership
Experience working on quarrying, landfill, restoration or recycling projects
Knowledge of environmental permitting or related disciplines
£45,000 - £55,000 basic salary
