As part of this growth, we are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Weighbridge Operator to join our Chesterfield team. This is a vital operational role where accuracy, organisation and confidence are key.
The Role
As Weighbridge Operator, you will manage all vehicle movements on and off site, ensuring loads are processed safely and in line with legal and site requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating the weighbridge system
- Recording vehicle weights and load details
- Checking documentation and compliance paperwork
- Managing Waste Transfer Notes and WM3 classifications
- Maintaining accurate digital records
- Ensuring drivers adhere to site safety rules
- Supporting general administrative site duties
You will be the communication link between drivers, customers and the site team, helping to always maintain efficiency and compliance.
