We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading organisation operating within a highly regulated, fast-moving industrial environment. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking engineering team focused on plant reliability, continuous improvement, and high engineering standards across a large-scale site. You will play a key role in minimising downtime, delivering preventative maintenance, and supporting reliability and process improvement projects.
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining plant and equipment availability through reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out reactive electrical maintenance and rapid fault diagnosis
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
- Improve plant reliability and efficiency through engineering improvements
- Support continuous improvement and reliability projects
- Liaise with external contractors for specialist maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and maintenance records
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety and compliance standards
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- Strong experience in electrical fault-finding, repair, and reactive maintenance
- Confident carrying out PPMs and supporting process improvements
- Good understanding of health and safety and engineering compliance
- Background in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, utilities, waste, or similar environments
- Proactive, reliable, and a strong problem solver
- Salary up to £50,836 per annum
- Permanent, full-time position
