Area Manager in Bristol

Taking ownership of the commercial and operational performance of your area
Leading, coaching and challenging your managers to deliver stronger results
Identifying opportunities to improve performance and putting clear action plans in place
Getting under the skin of the numbers to understand what's working, what isn't and why
Raising standards and driving greater consistency across your locations
Building strong, capable management teams with clear succession and development plans
Managing costs effectively without compromising operational performance
Tackling underperformance quickly and constructively
Sharing best practice and creating an environment where teams continuously look for ways to improve
Spending time across your area, staying close to your people and maintaining a strong understanding of each location

Proven multi-site leadership experience
A strong track record of improving operational and commercial performance
Experience coaching, developing and challenging managers
Strong commercial awareness and confidence working with performance data
A visible, hands-on leadership style
The confidence to make decisions and take ownership
Resilience and the ability to operate at pace
The ability to balance immediate priorities with longer-term improvement
Experience within retail, hospitality, leisure, logistics, distribution or another fast-paced multi-site environment could all translate well into this opportunity.
