We are seeking a professional Relief Care Supervisor to exemplify the high-quality customer standards that we are renowned for. This is an excellent opportunity to support the management and smooth running of this thriving community of active and independent older people, enabling them to live their best lives in elegant private apartments in a beautiful setting with the peace of mind that help is always at hand.

You will live within easy commuting distance of our estate. You will be a warm, friendly, organised, and self-motivated individual with experience of working in a care or support environment and excellent care skills. You will want to work in the Health and Social Care sector and preferably have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification, although consideration will be given to a candidate with alternative qualifications and relevant experience.

Responsibilities
  • Take on the responsibility of managing the security of the development and overseeing the Care and Support teams while looking after the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners.
  • Co-ordinate and facilitate activities that help strengthen the community spirit within the development.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of care standards and lead by example.
  • Provide emergency support to homeowners between 23:00 and 07:00, including sleeping night shifts.
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a care or support environment.
  • Excellent care skills and a self-motivated, organised, and friendly demeanour.
  • Health and Social Care sector experience.
  • QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification preferred.
Pay & Hours

Day shifts: £15.24 per hour. Night shifts: £12.24 per hour. Additional pay: £1 per hour for every hour worked from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday. Hours are covered on an “as and when” basis and will be discussed with the Development Manager. Day shifts vary between 08:45–16:30 or 16:15–09:30, while night shifts run from 21:30–09:00.
