McCarthy Stone is seeking a professional Relief Care Assistant to join their team at the stunning development, Lyle Court in Edinburgh. Lyle Court was built by McCarthy & Stone specifically for retirement living plus. The development features 73 one and two-bedroom retirement apartments for the over 70s.
Salary and Hours
- Base Salary: Β£11.96 per hour
- Hours: Flexible

About the Role
As a Relief Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality individual care to residents, supporting their health and wellbeing. Your duties will include housekeeping, domestic support, encouraging participation in activities, assisting with appointments, transport, shopping, and escorting residents as needed. Every day will be diverse, offering opportunities to make a real difference using your people skills.
About You
You are a warm, friendly individual, ideally with experience in care or support environments. You have a passion for enhancing the wellbeing and happiness of older people. You enjoy working as part of a team in a busy setting. You are committed to delivering excellent customer service. You are interested in working in the Health and Social Care sector, preferably with a QCF Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care (Adults).
