McCarthy Stone is seeking a professional Relief Care Assistant to join their team at Windsor House, a stunning Retirement Living PLUS development located in the sought-after suburb of Millhouses, Sheffield. Windsor House offers a vibrant community for the over 70s, set in landscaped grounds and built by award-winning builders McCarthy & Stone.
Salary: £11.58 per hour plus additional pay (see below)
Hours: Flexible

About the role
As a Relief Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality individual care to residents, supporting their health and wellbeing. Your duties will include housekeeping, domestic support, encouraging participation in activities, assisting with appointments, arranging transport, escorting visits, and shopping assistance. Every day will be diverse, offering opportunities to make a positive difference using your people skills.
About you
You are warm, friendly, and ideally have experience in a care or support environment. You are passionate about enhancing the wellbeing and happiness of older people and enjoy working in a team. You are committed to delivering excellent customer service. You are interested in working in the Health and Social Care sector and preferably hold a QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Adults), though relevant experience and alternative qualifications will be considered.
