We are looking for a Relief Care & Support Assistant to provide high‑quality care and support to residents, enabling them to live their later life well.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual care, supporting residents’ health and wellbeing.
- Deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the estate, including apartment cleans.
- Encourage residents to participate in a wide range of activities.
- Assist residents with booking appointments, arranging transport, escorting them on visits and shopping.
Qualifications & Experience
- Warm, friendly individual with ideally some experience in a care or support environment.
- Passion for improving the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
- Capacity to work as part of a team in a busy setting.
- Driven to deliver excellent customer service.
- Preferably holds a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification; consideration given to alternative qualifications and relevant experience.

Cherrett Court, Ferndown, Dorset.
Compensation and Hours
- Hourly rate: £13.26 per hour, plus up to an additional £1.30 for working evenings and weekends.
- Hours: Shift coverage on an “as and when” basis, to be discussed with the development manager.
- 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays (pro‑rata if part‑time).
