McCarthy Stone are looking for a professional Duty Care Manager to join their team at their prestigious development, Neptune House in Worthing.

Set in the large seaside town of Worthing at the foot of the South Downs, Neptune House is situated a stone\’s throw from the seafront.

This is not traditional care, this is better!

Base salary: £13.56 per hour day rate and £11.44 sleeping night rate per hour plus a weekend enhancement of a further £1 per hour.

Hours: 15.5 per week (includes day and night shifts)

Our day shifts vary between 08:45 and 16:30 or between 16:15 to 09:30.

Our night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00am

Our Duty Care Managers sleep between 23:00pm and 07:00am providing emergency support only to our homeowners throughout that period.

    We are seeking a professional Duty Care Manager to exemplify the high-quality customer standards that we are renowned for.     About you:

  • You will be a warm, friendly, organised, and self-motivated individual with experience of working in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.

  • You will want to work in the Health and Social care sector and preferably have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification although consideration will be given to a candidate with an alternative qualifications and relevant experience.

  • Keen to take on the responsibility of managing the security of the development, looking after the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners, and overseeing the Care and Support teams.

  • Able to co-ordinate and facilitate activities that help strengthen the community spirit within the development.

  • Driven to continue to grow their skills and will want to lead by example and think on their feet.

  • Able to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
