McCarthy and Stone are looking for a motivated and analytical Digital Business Analyst Apprentice to join our Digital Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who wants to begin a career in digital delivery, business analysis and digital transformation. As part of this apprenticeship, you will be enrolled on a recognised Business Analyst qualification, combining structured learning with hands-on experience supporting website enhancements, digital projects and business improvement initiatives.
Working alongside experienced Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers and stakeholders across the business, you will support business analysis activities including requirements gathering, documentation, testing and continuous improvement across digital projects and website enhancements. Throughout the apprenticeship, you will receive structured learning, mentoring and hands-on experience across the full digital delivery lifecycle, with responsibilities increasing as your skills and confidence develop.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in requirements gathering activities to understand business problems, user needs and delivery objectives.
- Learn how to translate requirements into clear user stories and supporting documentation.
- Assist in gathering, documenting and analysing business requirements for digital projects and website enhancements.
- Observe and gradually participate in stakeholder meetings, workshops and discovery sessions with support from the team.
- Support the creation and maintenance of business requirements documents, user stories, process maps and functional specifications with guidance from senior team members.
- Contribute ideas and observations that may help improve business processes, customer journeys and digital experiences.
- Support project teams by helping ensure requirements and actions are documented clearly and followed through appropriately.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and requirements records.
- Support the delivery of website improvements and new digital functionality.
- Assist with reviewing website feedback, customer insights and business requests.
- Support backlog organisation and help maintain enhancement requests under guidance from the Digital Technology team.
