McCarthy Stone are recruiting for a Care & Support Assistant to join the team at our Retirement Living Plus development, Mewstone Place in Dartmouth, Devon. Built in 2025, Mewstone is a Retirement Living Plus development that consists of 65 apartments with the over 70's in mind, providing excellent on-site facilities and set within beautiful grounds. This is not traditional care, this is better!
Hourly rate: £14.24 per hour
Hours: 20 hours per week available

About the role:
As a Care & Support Assistant, you will be responsible for the domestic support and housekeeping of our homeowner apartments, their laundry service and cleaning of the development’s communal areas. You will support in the Bistro or Restaurant during service times and provide lifestyle services to our homeowners. These include chaperoning homeowners to medical appointments, and/or other community related services, or simply offering social support. There are usually opportunities for overtime within nearby developments as well.

- Experience in a customer care or service role within a similar environment, such as health & social care, hospitality, retail, domestic services or even caring for a family member.
