Hybrid working at Bonis Hall, Prestbury studio. Full time permanent role in the Social Team reporting to the Senior Social Creator. Please only apply if you have the 'right to work in the UK' and are able to work onsite with your own transport.

About Us: McCann Manchester is a creative agency spread across eight acres of countryside in Cheshire. We work with some of the UK’s most interesting brands and we’re looking for a Social Designer to join us.

The Part You’ll Play: This is an exciting opportunity to join the highly decorated McCann Content studios team, winners of 30+ awards in 2024 alone for creativity and effectiveness in social media. You would be working across a roster of household brands including Aldi, Warburton's, KIA, Shark, Ninja and McCain. The Junior Social Designer will live and breathe social, helping to design and make content for high-profile brand accounts across an array of social platforms.

As a Social Designer you’ll be:

  • Producing designed content including animations, stills, videos and infographics for clients’ social media channels.
  • Taking direction from senior creatives to bring concepts to life.
  • Editing video/animation content for various audiences.
  • Working with previously designed assets to edit and perfect.
  • Building and editing PPT presentation decks.
  • Ensuring that all assets are designed in accordance with each client’s brand guidelines and the social channel specifications.
  • Delivering assets on time through the appropriate quality controls and approval processes.
  • Following and maintaining filing processes.
  • Being a team player, getting involved with the MCS team and wider McCann culture.

Minimum requirements:

  • Solid skills in Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • A working knowledge of PowerPoint and CapCut is advantageous.
  • Experience across all types of static and digital media.
  • An eye for detail.
  • Ability to react to projects at last minute and be flexible to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of social media.
  • Ability to work to brand guidelines and stay true to company objectives.
