Midweight Creative Team

Location: McCann Campus, Prestbury Cheshire (Hybrid working – 3 days a week in the office)

Being a creative at McCann Manchester.

If we had a quid for how many times an agency said, ‘we’re different’, we’d be more loaded than Jeff Bezos. So we’re not gonna say it. We’ll let you make your creative mind up about that.

When everybody else did tearjerkers at Christmas, we stole the season and the nations’ hearts with a 7p carrot. When other bakery brands slapped the word ‘protein’ on their baked goods and called it a day, we launched an active wear collection that holds your snack while you get stacked. When the fashion industry got more unrelatable by the day, we held up a mirror to everyday life and its struggles.

Not many agencies have bagged Cannes Lions, D&AD Pencils, and a whole cabinet of international awards recently either. Few have their own studios. Their own editing suites. Their own sound booths. And very few agencies have their own pool beside their Cheshire mansion office space.

How many agencies work on their network’s biggest clients like L’Oréal, Mastercard, and Microsoft? And how many get up to mischief on their own client roster, like Aldi, Warburtons, McCain, Matalan and Kayak? Working across everything from the biggest telly ad of the year (literally), all the way down to a viral TikTok that gives our brands their claim to fame. Every billboard, every Instagram Poll, every Facebook Live is given the same love and energy.

You might call all of the above different, but we just call it another Tuesday.
