As part of McCann Content Studios, this team will have the backing of one of the UK’s largest and most awarded networks. You will work with a wider dedicated social and influencer team. You will need to come up with social-specific ideas and create content for those ideas.

The Role

We’re building something exciting at McCann Content Studios and we’re looking for a bold, culture-savvy Designer to help us set the tone.

This is your chance to define the visual look and feel of major brands, right from the start. From typography and graphics to social-native stickers and toolkits, you’ll create a design system that’s elevated, ownable, and built to scale across platforms.

You’ll work closely with a newly formed team including a Creative Strategist and a Social Creative. We’re a fresh crew with a shared ambition to create standout work across all social platforms. You’ll be the go-to for visual execution, setting the foundation the wider design team can build from.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create a bold, social-first visual identities – from concept to playbook/toolkit
  2. Develop a graphic system including type, layouts, iconography, and sticker sets as well as simple motion design.
  3. Collaborate with strategy and creative to bring ideas to life from day one
  4. Craft visual solutions that feel native to social but stand out with elevated design
  5. Stay sharp on trends, tech, and cultural shifts that inform great creative
  6. Support the wider design team in implementing your system across campaigns

Who you are:

  • A sharp-eyed designer with serious graphic and typographic skills
  • Experienced in creating design for digital and social channels, including simple motion design
  • Strong on craft but just as confident in contributing to early creative thinking
  • Obsessed with social trends and design.
  • Passionate about branding, layout, and developing visual systems
  • Fast, curious, and excited by experimentation in both static and motion
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
