Are you looking to start your PR career as an Account Executive? This role will give you the chance to get involved in exciting campaigns, supported by a team that will help you learn and grow. The McCann Central team is looking for someone to join its consumer PR team. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of retail, home & interiors, travel and lifestyle brands sharing a passion with our clients on understanding how businesses work and how to communicate across PR and Social channels with clarity and creativity. You’ll be working alongside some of the most creative talent in the region at the world’s most effective and creative agency, with responsibility for supporting a portfolio of well-established, national B2C accounts.

Why would you want to work here? McCann Central is the UK’s largest integrated agency - over 500 individuals working together to help brands play a meaningful role in people’s lives. Most recently the PR functions in Solihull (Birmingham) and Bristol have combined together to create one super-awesome team which has already resulted in some key new business wins; and therefore this role can be flexible to work out of either office, on a hybrid basis, dependent on circumstances. We are also part of McCann Worldgroup, a global agency network that delivers culture-shaping work for some of the world’s biggest brands. And to add to the (literal) wheelbarrow full of awards we’ve got including Euro Effies most effective global agency, Cannes Network of the Year, Campaign’s European Integrated Agency of the Year, not to mention McCann Central’s haul of awards in recent years at Cannes Lions, Clios, One Show, D&AD, LIAs, Golden Drum & Creative Circle Awards. So creativity really is at the forefront of everything we do. We’re a team of passionate creatives, strategists and engineers from a wide mix of backgrounds. But there’s a lot that unites us – like caring deeply about everything we make. And though our skillsets are wide and our process knowledge is deep, we are all still learning every day.

  • Assist in ensuring timely, high-quality work and provide support to the accounts team for the day-to-day running of accounts.
  • Focus on achieving coverage, driving traffic, and tracking key messages.
  • Provide comprehensive reports and evaluations.

You will be a confident communicator with a keen eye for detail and strong organisation skills.
