Are you looking for a rewarding finance role where your work directly contributes to helping individuals facing financial challenges? Our Finance Department is seeking a detail‑oriented Finance Administrator to join our growing team.

This position is ideal for someone with a background in finance or accounting who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accuracy, and supporting a busy team. You\’ll handle a range of financial administration duties while ensuring client funds and company accounts are processed efficiently and in line with internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dealing with client funds in line with company procedures
  • Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Communicating professionally via telephone, email, and letter with debtors and creditors
  • Completing internal reviews of cases and liaising with other departments as required
  • Calculating and processing dividend payments
  • Carrying out debtor and creditor reconciliations
  • Supporting management with financial reporting and audits
  • Completing general office duties as required by management

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs including Maths and English Grade C or above
  • A qualification in accounting, finance, or mathematics, or at least 2 years experience in a finance or accounts role
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with Sage (advantageous but not essential)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Resides within commuting distance to our Derry office
