Are you looking for a rewarding finance role where your work directly contributes to helping individuals facing financial challenges? Our Finance Department is seeking a detail‑oriented Finance Administrator to join our growing team.
This position is ideal for someone with a background in finance or accounting who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accuracy, and supporting a busy team. You\’ll handle a range of financial administration duties while ensuring client funds and company accounts are processed efficiently and in line with internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Dealing with client funds in line with company procedures
- Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
- Communicating professionally via telephone, email, and letter with debtors and creditors
- Completing internal reviews of cases and liaising with other departments as required
- Calculating and processing dividend payments
- Carrying out debtor and creditor reconciliations
- Supporting management with financial reporting and audits
- Completing general office duties as required by management
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 5 GCSEs including Maths and English Grade C or above
- A qualification in accounting, finance, or mathematics, or at least 2 years experience in a finance or accounts role
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with Sage (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Resides within commuting distance to our Derry office
