In this role you will support Mc Cain’s regional agricultural operations by coordinating with growers to meet quality and timing targets.
You’ll translate crop data into actionable updates for the team, ensuring smooth deliveries and adherence to contracts.
You’ll work with the Regional Agriculture Manager to shape the regional strategy and strengthen grower relationships.

Responsibilities
- Partner with the Regional Agriculture Manager to implement strategic objectives on the ground
- Coordinate with the Crop Management Technician to ensure timely, accurate crop intelligence
- Ensure delivery of right-quality potatoes at the right time and meet contractual commitments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with growers and grower groups
- Promote quality improvement across the grower base and support seed quality processes
- Support seed ordering and coordinate seed quality inspections when needed
- Provide agronomic support and develop crop production plans from planting to store
- Key requirements
- Experience working with growers in a quality or agronomic role
- Direct experience with a processing potato crop and understanding field-to-factory quality
- Experience managing customer or grower relationships
- Comfort using bespoke agricultural computer systems
- Strong knowledge of agriculture and potato crop production
- tertiary qualification in agriculture or related discipline, or equivalent on-the-ground experience
- BASIS and FACTS qualifications already in place, or commitment to achieving them within 12 months
