We are looking for a commercially sharp, insight-led National Account Executive to join our high-performing team. This is not your average sales support role – we are seeking someone who is comfortable diving into category insights and promotional effectiveness as they manage customer relationships and execute plans. The role is a springboard for building a career in account management, category development, or commercial strategy within FMCG.
Responsibilities
- Support National Account Managers in the day-to-day management of key retail accounts.
- Own elements of customer account admin: promotional planning, pricing, forecasting, and tracking.
- Collaborate closely with category and insights teams to develop compelling, customer-specific stories and presentations.
- Evaluate the performance of promotional activity and work with the wider commercial team to optimise future plans.
- Translate consumer and shopper data into actionable recommendations for both internal stakeholders and retail partners.
- Prepare and present key business updates, sales performance reports, and category reviews.
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across sales, marketing, supply chain, and category teams.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years’ experience in FMCG, preferably in a commercial, sales support, or category role.
- Experience of the GB retail market.
- Strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in what drives consumer behaviour and category performance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – confident working with data and turning it into a story.
- Organised, proactive, and eager to learn – you will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree educated or equivalent experience.
