About The Role

Working as part of an integrated team, the Production Supply Operator is responsible for co-ordinating all packaging between Dry Stores and Production to ensure all packaging is accounted for on SAP and all returns have been actioned whilst achieving company standards of hygiene, quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • To maintain SAP within the Packing area whilst continually monitoring the COOISPI figures.
  • To maintain all stocks of tote movements within the Tote Room area to ensure all tote movements have been registered on the SAP system, including rework.
  • To maintain the hourly OEE and packing figures to ensure they are correct and up to date.
  • To create and release any unplanned process orders, including rework and sanitation.
  • To co-ordinate and audit all packing traceability / food safety documentation and ensure it is delivered to the main QA team for archiving at the end of each shift.
  • To monitor and audit the Packing department weights and measures on a shift by shift basis.
  • To check all packaging availability at the start of every shift to ensure the continual running of the production plant.

What hours will I work?

The shift pattern is 2 days 7am-7pm, 1 day off, 2 nights 7pm-7am followed by 3 days off.

Where you’ll work?

You’ll be based at our Whittlesey plant in Peterborough. If you’ve spotted our three wind turbines, then you’ll know where we are! With about 350 employees on site, we’re one of our largest plants across the GB business. Our Whittlesey plant is where we make our famous French Fries as well as our chilled products, such as our Shake Shake Fries.
