ABOUT THE ROLE: Whilst working as part of an integrated team within the Receiving department, the Jacket Operative is to ensure potato intake operates effectively and that a continuous supply of potatoes meets planned schedule to quality requirements.
The Jacket Operative is also responsible for the Jacket line grading when this is running and overseeing the Flake line, ensuring it is set correctly and cleaning standards are adhered to.
Key tasks of the role include, but are not limited to: Yard management including receiving loads, carrying out checks, driver management and maintaining cleanliness standards Manoeuvring empty and full Dolavs Loading and unloading trailers
