Our client is one of the biggest financial services in North America.

They are looking for an EU Trading Operation Support Analyst to join their team in London. This is a permanent position, requiring 4 days in the office. The salary is up to £80k or matched to your expectations, plus a 10-20% bonus and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing and upgrading software on EU servers in EU data centres.
  • Evaluating technical issues with connectivity to clients, brokers, and venues.
  • Understanding message protocols for market data feeds and order entry line handlers.
  • Setting up and maintaining local real-time and periodic reports.
  • Performing data analysis and SQL-based queries.
  • Client and venue/broker certification and testing.
  • QA testing of algorithms.
  • Supporting the Operations and Sales teams.
  • Maintaining real-time market data feeds and managing deployments (redline).
  • Identifying production bugs and creating tickets for third-line support.
  • Building and maintaining automated/manual portal testing suites.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation (e.g., FIX specs, regulatory specs, Confluence pages).
  • Integrating internal systems across regions and maintaining system configurations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Computer Science preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Prior experience in trading or trade support environment.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and technology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills and excellent organisational skills.
  • 3-5 years’ experience with FIX protocol.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Linux OS platforms, including command line.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and report project status.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Desire to define and execute new, repeatable business processes.
