Our client is looking for a Non-Financial Risk & Compliance Manager & Senior Manager to join teams in London, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Base pay range: £75,000 to £110,000 per annum plus £4,700 flex funds and other benefits. Three days in office per week.
About the role: Within our Financial Services Risk practice, the Banking Non-Financial Risk & Compliance team works with banking and capital markets clients on risk and regulatory programmes. Join a growing team of about 120 people covering retail, wholesale and capital markets. Work across Front Office, Risk, Compliance, Finance and Sustainability functions.
Qualifications
- Experience working within financial services risk and control projects from a consulting, banking or auditing background.
- Broad understanding of risk‑management and control frameworks.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders, developing effective relationships and providing insightful management information.
- Technical experience related to non‑financial risk management and controls (e.g., review and design of controls; Sarbanes‑Oxley preferred).
- A willingness to learn new skills and help develop and innovate client propositions.
- A proven track record of working successfully with teams to deliver change projects, including monitoring engagement progress and budgets.
- Experience managing small teams of junior staff and contributing to the development of your own and the team’s technical acumen.
- Strong commercial awareness, sound reporting skills and experience leading teams whilst working under your own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (prior experience in visual presentation and report writing is preferred) to effectively communicate key messages to different levels of stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, deal with ambiguity and be agile across a range of projects in financial services.
- Ability to apply good judgement during engagements and escalate issues appropriately.
- Strong attention to detail, including robust analysis and presentation skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI/Tableau).

- Experience leveraging technology tools and generative AI in day‑to‑day activities, or as part of projects or programmes of work.
