What You'll Do

  • Benefits Realization & Tracking
    • Define and track benefits profiles across transformation portfolio
    • Support benefits owners and validate financial/non-financial benefits
    • Conduct benefits tracking and variance analysis
    • Challenge assumptions and escalate risks to value delivery
    • Support post-implementation value tracking
  • Portfolio Management & Oversight
    • Oversee portfolio of complex change initiatives
    • Monitor timelines, allocate budgets, manage cross-project dependencies
    • Support portfolio prioritization aligned to strategic objectives and investment governance
    • Conduct scenario modelling, capacity analysis, and value-based trade-offs
  • Data Analysis & Insights
    • Analyse portfolio performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
    • Provide actionable insights to senior stakeholders
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations (Power BI)
    • Enable real-time portfolio insights through data reporting
    • Track change adoption and business readiness metrics
  • Operational Improvement
    • Identify areas for operational improvement, cost reduction, and better service delivery
    • Use established methodologies to drive efficiency
    • Track ROI and objectively measure performance
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Build deep cross-functional relationships across C-suite and middle management
    • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders
    • Ensure widespread buy-in for transformation initiatives

Essential Requirements

  • Banking Experience (Essential): Previous banking or financial services experience required
  • Transformation & PMO: Strong PMO experience - tracking, reporting, control across transformation portfolios
  • Benefits Realization Management (BRM) expertise
  • Portfolio management of complex change initiatives
  • Experience with P3O / PRINCE2 / MSP frameworks
  • Agile/Hybrid delivery models (SAFe or Scrum)
  • Stage Gate / Investment Governance frameworks
  • Data & Analysis: Strong analytical and data visualization skills
  • Power BI expertise for dashboards and real-time insights
  • Excel modelling for financial analysis and scenario planning
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Understanding of financial drivers, business cases, and value measurement
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Building deep cross-functional relationships across all organizational levels
  • Managing C-suite and middle management expectations
  • Strong communication skills for senior stakeholder engagement

Essential:

  • Banking or financial services experience (non-negotiable)
  • Proven track record in transformation/PMO roles within banking
  • Benefits realization and portfolio management expertise
  • Strong Power BI and data visualization capabilities
  • P3O/PRINCE2/MSP certification or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of banking regulatory environment
