We are working with a leading Financial Services client who is looking for a Lead Process Engineer (Black Belt) to support and contribute to multiple change initiatives across the organisation.

The Role

  • Design new workflows and processes, conducting thorough analysis to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and recommending solutions.
  • Implement strategies for continuous improvement, working closely with various departments to enhance overall organisational effectiveness.
  • Utilise data-driven insights to support informed decision-making.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, improvements, and best practices, ensuring knowledge is shared across the organisation.
  • Build and deliver change management strategies and plans as part of transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies to effectively engage and inform stakeholder groups.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, identifying when these need to be reset and escalating where required.
  • Understand and respond appropriately to different stakeholder perspectives.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and support team morale.

Required Experience

  • Strong knowledge of improvement principles and best practices, supported by Lean Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certification.
  • Experience in business analysis, process design, re-engineering, and optimisation, including workflow solutions and robotic process automation (RPA).
  • Solid experience within the Financial Services industry.
  • Proven experience documenting and prioritising business requirements and/or user stories.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable benefits through process re-engineering.
  • Experience applying project management methodologies in delivery environments.
  • Strong experience in change management and working within agile environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative and engaging approach.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop clear recommendations and high-quality written and visual content.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience working on large-scale transformation programmes within Financial Services.
  • Demonstrated coaching and mentoring capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
