Graduate Trade Support Analyst

Location: London, Hybrid

Salary: £45,000 + Strong Bonus

Type: Permanent

Join a leading Financial Services Client as a Trade Support Analyst in a role designed to develop recent graduates into skilled technology professionals. This position offers comprehensive training and exposure to cutting-edge trading systems and market data platforms.

This role consists of providing level 2 technical support for the client\’s applications to both internal departments and external customers. The range of applications covers Middle and Back office as well as Market Data. Specifically, to provide technical support in a project-based structure to ensure the successful delivery of application solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide production support and maintenance for a full range of Pre and Post Trade applications including project-related activities.
  • Perform monitoring, tuning and optimisation of performance.
  • Create and update all documents related to applications and their supporting systems.
  • Support production and pre-production environments.
  • Maintain disaster recovery solutions across different domains.
  • Recommend new or changed standards to ensure improved efficiency, effectiveness, and robustness for all environments.
  • Respond quickly to production issues taking responsibility for seeing those issues through to resolution, recording all actions taken and communicating the impact of the actions to the appropriate levels of management.
  • Provide 24x7x365 support and incident response.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts (as per roster) and during weekends and extended hours when needed.

Essential Requirements

  • Computer Science degree (minimum 2:1) from a Russell Group university

Desirable Knowledge and Level of Experience:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Willingness to learn new technologies quickly
  • Customer-focused approach with ability to work under pressure
  • Flexibility for occasional shift work and extended hours
