An exciting opportunity to join a fast growing, private equity backed data centre owner-operator, who are looking to expand their team with a Safety and Compliance Lead.

The successful candidate will play a critical part in driving process and policy adoption, best practice, training, and continuous improvement, to maintain a safe, secure and compliant workplace.

Key responsibilities include:

Policy creation and adoption relating to ISO and PCI DSS standards
Health and safety representation for the UK office
Workplace safety – maintaining H&S policies
Emergency preparedness – safety, first aid and emergency procedures
Operations – ownership of site logbooks and registers, reviewing RAMs, MOPs, SOPs
Cross-regional alignment – working across multiple locations with group-wide teams
Risk and incident management
Delivering training and awareness
Conducting and supporting internal and external audits

To be successful in this role you must possess the following:

A strong health and safety background, ideally gained in a data centre environment (or similar facilities)
Certification in IOSH or NEBOSH
Experience with ISO and integrated management systems
Experience with risk assessments, compliance audits and incident investigations
