Leading Financial Services client is now looking for a dynamic Head of Project Delivery on a permanent basis. The role is offering a base of £125,000 (potentially negotiable) + strong bonus, pension and car allowance and it is based out of their office on the Southeast coast (hybrid working available).
The Head of Project Delivery will be tasked with developing an environment that allows Project Managers to thrive. They will be big advocates of Agile practices and have proven experience overseeing delivery functions that have more than 15 Scrum teams & 150 + resources. The ideal Head of Business Change will also need an excellent background in budget management (in excess of £30m) and have proven experience running complex resource functions at maximum efficiency.
To be considered for this role you will need the following:
- Experience running large complex Change / Delivery functions within Financial Services.
- Experience overseeing large teams of Business Change Professionals.
- Proven experience nurturing and developing talent.
- Must have an excellent background in Resource and Budget Management.
- Direct budget responsibilities in excess of £30m.
- Previous experience developing robust Portfolio dashboards and KPIs.
- Proven experience working collaboratively with the PMO function to help in defining processes & documentation and ensuring all have adequate controls.
- Comfortable supporting PMs in their projects, providing cover where required and have the ability to pick up any aspect of the project when required.
- Happy to question and challenge peers & managers when processes and procedures do not meet expectations.
- Exceptional leadership skills and able to influence cross-functional departmental leaders in a particular direction.
- A team-builder and team player, who can work comfortably in a highly collaborative setting.
