A cutting- edge FinTech in the City of London is now looking to hire a Head of Financial Technology on a permanent basis to lead the transformation of the finance technology landscape, driving modernisation, innovation and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will be a technologist at heart and have a background from either a challenger bank or FinTech. They also must have a proven track record of delivering cutting-edge finance systems and be well-versed in FinOps and Automation.
This role is offering a base of £130,000 to £165,000 (potential flexibility) + a strong benefits package. Hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape and deliver a strategic roadmap for finance systems, including ERP, payments, treasury, and reporting platforms, etc.
- Spearhead a major ERP implementation and overhaul of payments architecture, which includes mobile-first solutions.
- Enable seamless integration between financial systems and the data platform to support advanced analytics and Gen AI-powered reporting.
- Ensure robust data integrity, regulatory compliance and best-in-class governance.
- Collaborate across Finance, IT, Data and Operations to deliver impactful solutions and maximise vendor partnerships.
