A leading Financial Services organisation is looking to appoint a Head of Data Platform Engineering to lead the design, development and ongoing evolution of its enterprise data platform. The role is offering a base salary of £125,000 plus excellent benefits. The business operates a remote-first model, with occasional travel to its London and Southeast office.
This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for a modern Azure and Snowflake environment, leading teams across platform engineering, quality and governance. You will shape the data platform roadmap, drive delivery across both strategic change and BAU, and play a key role in building a scalable, secure and high-performing data capability.
The role will suit someone who combines strong technical depth with proven leadership experience in modern data platforms. You will be expected to improve engineering standards, strengthen DataOps and CI/CD practices, drive platform optimisation and cost control, and act as a senior partner to stakeholders across technology and the wider business.
