A global AI and Data Analytics consultancy is looking to hire a Client Facing R&D Generative AI Architect to join its London team. The role is based in their City of London office, with hybrid working, and offers a base salary of £110,000 to £125,000, plus bonus and benefits. This is a senior, client facing role within an AI Innovation and R&D function, focused on delivering cutting edge Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions across Insurance and Banking clients.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, shape solutions and lead the delivery of complex AI programmes, combining deep technical expertise with strong commercial awareness.
Key responsibilities- Engage senior stakeholders to define Generative AI opportunities and use cases
- Lead client workshops and shape AI strategy and roadmaps
- Architect and deliver scalable AI solutions, including LLM and agent-based systems
- Lead end to end delivery of complex AI projects across global teams
- Mentor engineers and data scientists and drive best practice
- Strong background in AI, machine learning or data science
- Deep experience with LLMs and modern GenAI frameworks
- Experience designing AI architectures such as RAG and agent-based systems
- Strong Python and cloud experience across AWS, Azure or GCP
- Proven track record delivering AI solutions in a client facing environment
