Are you a Power BI expert ready to own and optimise an enterprise-scale BI estate? We're supporting a leading UK insurer undergoing major digital transformation in their search for a Power BI Administrator to take charge of their self-service reporting environment. In this pivotal role, you'll lead on platform configuration, governance, cost optimisation, and user enablement—ensuring Power BI delivers secure, scalable, and high-performing analytics across the business.
What you'll do:
- Configure and administer Power BI service, gateways, and workspaces
- Define and enforce governance and best practice across a federated data landscape
- Manage artefact lifecycle, user access, and version control
- Optimise performance, capacity planning, and licensing costs
- Support Power BI developers and users with technical expertise
What we're looking for:
- Strong Power BI administration experience in a decentralised/self-service environment
- Deep understanding of licensing models and performance tuning
- Proven ability to define and uphold BI governance standards
- Confident working with data integration, modelling, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience in enterprise data environments (Data Mesh knowledge a plus)
Package includes:
