We are recruiting a Business Development Manager to drive profitable growth within the Food & Beverage sector, focusing on private label and branded food manufacturers. The role is responsible for winning new business, growing existing accounts, and developing opportunities across linerless, OPP and pressure-sensitive label solutions. This is a strategic, outward-facing position requiring strong commercial acumen and experience in high-volume FMCG environments. The role will contribute to achieving growth targets of 3% above market performance and support wider EMEA commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Drive new business acquisition and account growth within Food & Beverage
- Develop T1/T2 accounts and convert acquisition customers into long-term partners
- Manage full sales lifecycle: prospecting → proposal → onboarding
- Promote linerless, OPP and value-added labelling solutions
- Build strong relationships across procurement, technical and commercial teams
- Work cross-functionally with estimating, production, design and customer service
- Maintain CRM accuracy and forecast pipeline performance
- Ensure compliance with food packaging regulations and internal standards
- Proven B2B sales or business development experience
- Strong background in Food & Beverage or FMCG
- Experience working with private label and/or branded food customers
- Commercially driven with strong negotiation skills
- Comfortable managing complex sales cycles
- CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
- Experience with linerless and/or OPP labels
- Background in packaging, labels or print manufacturing
- Knowledge of food safety, compliance and sustainability standards
- Strong relationship builder
